If you have an illness that cannot be cured, our caregivers will prioritise making you as comfortable as possible by managing your pain. Our team will listen to you and your family so they can understand your individual needs and personalise your care package. We see you as the whole person you are, and give you the gentle support that works for you.
How we can help
Our caregivers are highly trained to understand the needs of people with cancer, dementia, motor neurone disease, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s.
Palliative care is not just for the end of life. You may need palliative care earlier in your illness, while you are still receiving other therapies to treat your condition.
Our Palliative Care
Holistic healthcare
Our GP can review the medicines you’ve been prescribed to check how they’re supporting you. He can also work with other members of your healthcare team to make sure you’re getting all the support you need. This may include consultants trained in palliative medicine, specialist palliative care nurse and/or occupational therapists or physiotherapists.
And thanks to our brilliant new smart technology, your whole healthcare team can stay informed of how you’re doing. Friends and family can also be connected if that’s what you want.
The support you need
Our caregivers are here to support you and your family with whatever you need. We can help with everyday tasks, your personal care, your healthcare needs and any household jobs. Just tell us what you need. And when the time comes, our compassionate caregivers are fully trained in end-of-life care.
If you need any further information on palliative or end-of-life care in the home, the NHS website has useful guides, case studies and videos.
